Spirit Guidance in Asheville

Asheville was on my path long before I recognized it. Before Asheville it looked like I might finally be having a stable life where I was true to myself, after many transformative years of change in key relationships, career, and home. I loved developing my new structural integration practice in the Rocky Mountains of Boulder, Colorado, the home of Dr. Rolf's original Rolf method of massage therapy. Why would I want to change?
Then my daughter informed me that I was about to have my first grandchild, many miles away in the southeast. Since who I am about is developing intimate relationships, I knew I would be moving back to the east coast – but where? Asheville was closer, was also in the mountains, and was also very diverse with a large population of spiritually conscious people. It seemed logical to move here, but was it right for me? It meant starting over, which I was reluctant to do. I prayed to Spirit for a sign.
That is when the synchronistic coincidences started. A Rolfer soon contacted me, telling me about another practitioner in Asheville who was looking for someone to turn over her clients to. When I parked my car before meeting her, I recognized the top deck of the Wall Street parking lot from a recurring dream I had experienced years earlier. (I had never before “seen” it.) The climbing wall on Wall Street was also “familiar”, as was the walk through the Public Services building, where her office was. By then I remembered other reoccurring dreams and knew what the office would look like before I ever “saw” it. The view overlooking the city was breathtaking, and memorable.
I accepted the signs I was given, and chose that Asheville office as my new home for the next year. Many other places in Asheville showed up from my past dreams to confirm my choice. And in continuing to allow Spirit to guide me, I have grown to accept more change in my life, allowing negative relationships to leave, and beautiful relationships to flourish. Spiritual health seems to flourish easily here.
My practice is growing. Beautiful people stop by to see me every day. I cherish my walks in our vibrant downtown and in our spring-fed mountains. I love our spirit-filled celebrations at Jubilee! on Wall Street. And I go home to a beautiful soul sharing a log cabin near a mountaintop, abundant with flowing water, lush foliage, and birdsong. Asheville is good. Thank you Asheville. Your Spirit moves me. Thank you Spirit.
