Why I was "Called" to Asheville

The Story of why I feel I was "called" to Asheville is yet another piece of an unfolding puzzle that within the past four years has been revealing itself to me. The puzzle is a story in itself and Asheville is the town I feel is settling my adventure of a kind of reclaiming my artistic and creative self in order to express the story.
When I read about the gathering of collective energy to be spoken in light of the idea of an intention to explore how our places effect who we are in the world, it really struck a chord in my journey and focus here.
I first received the idea of exploring synchronicity from reading James Redfield's Celestine Prophecy series, which in essence are fictional parables of spiritual ideas. I was called to travel from my native Florida home after, among many other factors of the visionary substance impeded me, a very powerful dream which had images similar to ideas explored in the Celestine Prophecy series. Throughout the last four years of my life I have been uncovering a pattern of interactivity integrating pieces of a real Native American Prophecy and my own self-processes of involvement with and engagement in the prophecy, as an onion-like effect of consciousness. The onion is a vegetable that is layered and sort of spherical, I reflect with as my story has uncovered layers of meaning in the powerful dream, which I refer to as the 'Gathering Dream'.
A central piece to the puzzle of the greater story and a key, I feel the dream to be expressing the very point of how our places effect who we are in the world, with Asheville, or the people with Asheville, playing a central role in it. The many other pieces of the onion effect of my experiences unfolding the gathering dream are weave a web affirming a kind of communication of a deeper intelligent sustenance that sure enough I feel is meant to stir the capacity and open the potentialities of realizing just where we are in the world, and most readily, who we are to be here. Just as I feel I was a passage way for the information I know as pattern in meaning now, Asheville seems to be the place I feel is a passage for me to express my knowing.
"The Gathering Dream"
In the Gathering Dream, countless peoples all gathered together in a group form, seeming to hold hands side by side, first greet me. The peoples bodies are made of shining and glowing rainbow colors and they are all very present, in a love and deep confluent compliance with each other and myself, very warm, a sort of collective content of intent. I arrive to joining them to witness a gleaming blue and white alternating and pulsing light wave that shoots upward from under our feet, and then seemingly radial in all directions at once, engulfing the peoples and myself. I then find myself in a field and see a man standing and holding a staff next to a pavilion of some kind and feel the presence of a tribal type community. Suddenly my attention shifts towards the sky as I see two golden ships of design floating, and simultaneously I yell the word "Sphinx". Next I am running across a field towards a wall of a forest. I run right into the forest like an animal running to catch their prey. It feels real and really exhilarating, like an exercise. I am running and jumping around, over, and through bushes, even swinging on a vine or two like a monkey. I get a speed and I jump really high into the air and form a dive into a dark lake in the middle of the forest floor. I surface in a room where there is a person present and situated across a table or such a space between us. There is a window shape behind the person, and a shape in the room which assumes different forms when I begin to recall the dream.* (*this type of memory I guess to be the exploration of a higher dimensional space which is a sort of 'comfort zone' of resonance. I imagine it referenced as a morphogenetic field, a field of resonance, which has super-natural properties of some sort. This experience happens in a few places in the gathering dream, and in other dreams I have had.) The shape changes from a spherical form moving from shelving across the room somewhere in the middle and takes the shape an old style scale used to weigh things by comparison, on platforms suspended by chains hanging form a balance beam.
I say to the person, " I am not that from which I came". I glance out the window and see an alley way made of brick buildings, and look out over the alleyway, and until I can see over the rooftops of the brick buildings, where I see two and then more silver ships soaring over the city. Suddenly the buildings begin to turn into pyramidal buildings like those in Bali, India, Tibetan, or other oriental culture, where the ends of the roof are turned up in a fashion. The buildings turn color from silver to gold like I am seeing a Heaven, or Shambhala.
After that vision, I turn back to the room where I was just at looking out the window, to travel back, or elsewhere I guess. I end up in front of a building with multiple levels and walkways where I have no distinction of being outdoors or indoors. There are walkways on the buildings with handrails and people are traversing the walkways. The people are dressed in uniforms, and I recognize the swastika once used by the German Nazis, which is on the uniforms, and it appears that the people are actually nazis. *This is another instance where I feel the remembrance of the dream is a morphogenetic field of resonance.* Like I (parenthesized) above.* The people are not totally stable in their appearance and activity as was the image in the dream.*
I see the people marching on the buildings and I use my hand and take the whole scene and fold it up like I'm reading a newspaper, and I fold and fold until I am holding and staring blankly at the flag of the United States of America. I immediately wake from the dream in a very aware and conscious feeling state.
The Gathering Dream was one of the dreams that I have felt an inspiration from to travel as a sort of backpacker across the United States. The deeper main threaded substance which connects Asheville to my dream is the path I chose to study and follow the World 13 Moon Calendar Change Peace Movement, which is the real Native American prophecy I mentioned before. The basic of principle in the Calendar Change Movement is the Scientific Discovery of the Law of Time, which boldly asserts to humanity that Time is the frequency of synchronicity. Calendars are thought, meant to increase synchronicity in a positive manner in order to evolve intelligence. The argument is that humanity is sort of in the ice age when it comes down to this type of thinking about time, the Gregorian calendar is crooked and not suited to fill the ever evolving technologies and intelligences of humanity. The other hand is the 13 moon- 28 day count 'calendar' of harmony, a measure of the solar year with the average moon cycle, 28 days, also the average female menstruation cycle.**(see attached article One Time, One Peace, for All! The Native American Prophecy part originates in the Central American Yucatan Peninsula, home of the Maya Indians, of whom are ancestors of the near-local Cherokee (Tselagi) Indians. The same count 'calendar' of days kept by the Maya, their central 260-day ritual count is kept by some Cherokee (Tselagi) Indians to this day. It is this central 260 day count of the Maya based on natural cycles that was studied by the Author, Jose Arguelles, who 'Discovered' the Law of Time through following it, and as a cyclic decoding of a lost time science, initiated the World 13 Moon Calendar Change Peace Movement. ***(please see attatched document DISTINGUISHING DREAMSPELL FROM THE TRADITIONAL MAYAN CALENDAR)
I found a 13 Moon Calendar in a book store in Colorado, a few moons or so after I left Florida on my adventure which was inspired both by my dreams and by my stagnant situations in social circles and my psyche.
The Rainbow Family and the people, of Kin in study and Use of the 13 Moon Calendar Peace Movement synchronistically led me to Asheville eventually where I realized key points in the Gathering Dream, seven years before I arrived here in the Gregorian year 2003, Dreamspell year Red Planetary Moon. When I was here then, I only realized a fraction of what I have to work with now in terms of what my Journey Means and what I am 'called' to express through it and with it. The people I met and friends I made in Asheville the first time around, led me to the places I saw in my dream as they were experimenting with the Dreamspell and 13 Moon Calendar Change Peace Movement. Why I have returned to Asheville is for a release of what I have realized through my experiences of consciousness experimenting with the Peace Movement's Social Themes and communities created thus far.
I hope that by attending the meeting and speaking my story, I may be able to at least lend and ear or find a synchronicity with someone else's story. I wish to help create a more conscious artistic community in Asheville by eventually completing my story as I plan to in some multi-media project of paintings and a book.
At best I want to turn people on to the 13 Moon Calendar and activate some artistic circuits of the psyche, and make new friends.

One Time, One Peace, for All!
Letter for Reform
The United States of America is the very first secular government founded in the world. The founding fathers document this in The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. One of the greatest assets an American citizen may appreciate is the freedom of religion. The fact is that religious persecution was a very motivating factor in coming to America. Nothing has endorsed the freedom of religion more than the separation of church and state. Americans enjoy a degree of religious freedom unknown in most of the rest of the world, and we take full advantage it: the United States is home to more than 1,500 different religious bodies and 360,000 churches, synagogues and mosques. I am grateful for the principles for which the United States was founded.
However, my concern is this, there was no specific legal code at that time for an official national calendar for the United States. Maybe that time has come. We have adopted the Gregorian calendar only by default. Founding this country on secularism and separation of church and state does not follow suit to keep the Gregorian calendar anymore. It is the weakest link in the U.S. to truly support separation of church and state principles. The fact is that our present Gregorian calendar is set-up to date from what was considered the year of the birth of Jesus Christ. Every time an individual writes out a check or signs a document he or she is acknowledging the amount of time that has passed since the birth of the Christian Savior. Does this respect the rights of those that are not of the Christian faith?
President Bush has violated the spirit of the founders and the letter of the First Amendment by giving tax money to religious organizations through the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives. His approach was either naive or sneaky and disingenuous. I am concerned in the direction that this could lead. I do worry about the walls of separation of church and state being torn down. If this is not a red flag, then I don't know what is.
It is absurd to keep pretending that the Gregorian is not a religious calendar when it is the Official Catholic calendar with its latest revision by Pope Gregory, implemented in 1582. How can we truly have freedom of religion unless we are allowed freedom from religion when we choose? So long as the Gregorian is the calendar in America, America has no true freedom from religion. Why the AU, ACLU, FFRF, etc doesn't want to talk about calendar reform is beyond me. This makes no sense in the very first country in the world founded upon principles of separation of church and state would not choose a calendar that is non-sectarian, democratically embracing all beliefs, for everyone, including non-believers for which until very recently hasn't had a political platform for many years. In the Pledge of Allegiance it says, 'With Liberty and Justice for all.' How about a calendar for all? The largest opponent to calendar reform appears to be bad habit, lack of interest and moral laziness to deal with the issue.
Here are a few basic facts:
The legal code of the United States does not specify an official national calendar. Use of the Gregorian calendar in the United States stems from an Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom in 1751, The British Calendar Act of 1751. Which specified use of the Gregorian calendar in England and its colonies.
The 13-month calendar was introduced into modern times by French philosopher Auguste Comte who studied the Polynesian 13-moon, 28-day calendar for 7 years and, in 1849, initiated the first reform of the Gregorian calendar to be based on the 13-moon calendar. Since that time, this calendar has been proposed on numerous occasions, preferred for its perfection and regularity.
In 1923, the "League of Nations" called for Calendar reform. More than 500 proposals were received by 1931. The 13 month, 28 day Calendar was favored. In the 1930's, 98% of businesses polled preferred the 13 month calendar over the Gregorian. In the US alone, over 100 industries of great diversity supported this change. It was only by extreme religious resistance from the (Roman Catholic) Vatican that world-wide adaptation of this logical alternative was halted.
The Thirteen Moon 28-day calendar belongs to no religion, is purely non-sectarian, democratically embracing all beliefs and holds a peaceful balance between the various solar and lunar calendars used around the world synchronizing all other calendars. Its use will not only reestablish harmony as an intrinsic value of life, but make accounting easier and provide for a perpetual calendar for all the holidays, i.e., July 4, would now be Cosmic Moon 8, and would always fall on a Sunday.
Superstition or distaste for the number 13 are not valid since we have a flag with 13 stars representing the original 13 colonies, not to mention the symbology of 13 on the US $1 dollar bill. We still have 13 red and white stripes on the American flag today. Why not the calendar to go with it?
The intent of this letter is to make the case that the World 13 Moon calendar exemplifies E Pluribus Unum (Out of many, One) more than any other. It is with great confidence when I say that no other calendar could be more American. There would be no greater starting point for the adoption of this calendar to begin to lead the world towards peace than in the United States, Iraq and Afghanistan.

DISTINGUISHING DREAMSPELL
FROM THE TRADITIONAL MAYAN CALENDAR
Clarifying Confusion on the Road to 2012
For the sake of catalyzing a new wave of understanding and education regarding the Dreamspell calendar, it is important to clarify what it is, and what it is not.
To begin, both the Traditional Mayan Calendar (known as Cholq'ij) and the Dreamspell offer a 260-day calendar. This count of 260 energies is generated from the 13 numbers in concert with the 20 glyphs (13 X 20 = 260), originated through the Olmec/Maya of ancient Mesoamerica. Undoubtedly, we recognize the "Classic Maya" and their astounding pyramid complexes as embodying a profound mastery of the science of Time which surpasses all other civilizations.
In essence, the knowlege of the sacred ratio 13:20 which governs all of Creation is ancient knowledge held by the Maya and their magnificent culture which survives to this day. Dr. Jose Arguelles and Lloydine Arguelles (co-authors of the Dreamspell) entered into this essential cosmic knowledge and discovered a modern application of the 13:20, imparting a distinct form and function from the Cholq'ij, as a remedy for the westernized mind that has been unconsciously adhering to a paradigm where time is erroneously understood to = money; one which sets us apart from the natural order of the Biosphere.
This new revelation of the powers of the 13:20 matrix came to be called the Law of Time, and the subsequent Dreamspell calendar system they presented to us is specifically for those of us living in a modern world that is, by its very design, founded on an artificial timing frequency. The purpose of this system is to assist us in discovering our harmonious potential to live in accord with the natural timing frequency of the Universe in which Time is understood as the Universal Frequency of Synchronization.
With great respect and gratitude to the Maya for bestowing this jewel - this master key of the knowledge of 13:20, we would like to publicly clarify that the form of the 260-unit Harmonic Module (Tzolkin) as presented in the Dreamspell/Wizard's count of this 13-moon Calendar is indeed a modern application of ancient science, and is DISTINCT from the form of the 260-day count that the living Maya in Guatemala and surrounding areas utilize.
In fact, the 13-Moon Dreamspell calendar should not be understood to be "The Mayan Calendar." Not only are there actually 20 calendars which make up the Mayan Calendar System, but moreso because the 260-day calendar as the Maya use it today follows a distinct daycount as a sacred heritage of their culture - one that is keeping the Long Count of days; the count of "13 Baktuns" (3113 BC-2012 AD) and it would be misrepresenting the Maya culture to not make a clear distinction.
The Mayan Long count cycle is what Dr. Arguelles refers to as the Cycle of History. In fact, it is precisely this 5,125 year cycle, as it is currently closing out its final few years, which is the unifying point of focus for followers of both the Cholqu'ij and the Dreamspell. All of humanity is collectively journeying through this prophetic closing - all of us being prepared for the transition point of 2012. This Living Prophecy is described as the shifting of World Ages, as we are poised on the brink of entering a New World, post 2013.
In terms of the specific Mayan connection to the Dreamspell, beyond the foundation of the 13:20 code, the Dreamspell also embodies a correlation to the Yucatec Mayan "Chilam Balam". This is found in aspects such as the fixed July 26th new year date, the specific year-bearers, the consequent 52-year pattern of Earth families, and even the omitting of the the leap-year day Feb 29th is based in the resurrection of this prophetic tradition. Because there was a long break in this Mayan tradition, this Wizard's Count of the Dreamspell is known as "reformulated Chilam Balam," for what was known in ancient times as "Jaguar Priests" is known in today's world as "Earth Wizards!"
As Dr. Arguelles writes: "The Dreamspell Count based on the Gregorian calendar synchronization date of July 26, is a precise expression of the prophetic tradition of the Chilam Balam - the Jaguar priests of Lowland Yucatec Maya. The Quiche or Mayan long count represents the chronological order of time...as such, it is a linear [expression] of the Tzolkin...The purpose of the Chilam Balam Count was to establish a basis for understanding that there exists a synchronic order of time, completely apart from what is usually referred to as the Long Count, the linear count of days (BC 3113 - AD 2012). The synchronic order is complementary to this linear interpretation, but introduces the human to the radial order of the higher dimensions...The two counts actually constitute a prophectic alliance...There is no conflict...The Law of Time embraces both systems in the higher fourth-dimensional order of truth."
It is of utmost importance that we distinguish between "The Mayan Calendar" and "The 13-Moon Dreamspell Calendar, that there is no cultural misrepresentation, and that we are simultaneously empowered with knowing the true function of the Dreamspell!
In that light,
let us briefly summarize
the distinct powers of the Dreamspell Science:
"Dreamspell, Journey of Timeship Earth 2013"is a door to the infinite;
a tool for galactic synchronization; the primary tool kit of fourth dimensional time;
a harmonic set of codes which not only describe Earth as a living whole-system,
but which also offers profound principles for social reorganization;
a storehouse of the interstellar, interplanetary cosmological history of the Earth;
the complete codes and cosmology for establishing "galactic culture;"
an antidote to the memory virus known as "cosmic amnesia;"
all in all, a multi-dimensional tool for the human being in the modern world
to reconnect to nature and the sacred mathematical synchronic order of the Universe.
As Dr. Jose Arguelles (co-author of the Dreamspell) stated:
"I understood the word 'Dreamspell' to mean any consensus reality...
'Spell in english has two different meanings, which are kind of connected:
a spell can be an enchantment; and a spell also refers to a period of time -
you are enchanted for a period of time.

We've spoken about how the mathematics of the Law of Time establishes the cosmology of a new scientific order, but we have science and myth. We have the scientific sensibility and the mythic sensibility which are unified in ourselves in the two sides of our brain that cross over to govern the two sides of our body in a bilateral symmetry of the Loom of the 13 Moons in the Tzolkin.
"Literally by following the 13 Moon Calendar and the Dreamspell Count,
we are beginning to overcome the Dreamspell of History...
We are in the process of overcoming the memory virus...
"Through the Dreamspell we are talking about the responsibility
of the Earth Wizards to re-enchant the world...
When we talk about natural time we are talking about restoring ourselves
in the sacred order of the universe.
The universe never stopped being sacred.
It was us who exercised our will,
created this great, great, great illusory bubble that we feel is so real -
it is us who have alienated ourselves from the sacred.
What is natural is sacred...
"If there were no deviation from Natural Time,
we wouldn't need a Dreamspell kit
- but we have deviated, and the Law of Time says
we need to relearn what it is to be Art.
So, the Dreamspell is the code or set of codes
that returns us to the truth that Time is Art.
And since we are time, we are art!"
